A fresh tease of both the Skoda Superb Scout wagon and flagship Laurin&Klement version have been unveiled ahead of the facelifted Superb's unveiling at a VIP event on May 23.
The darkened images released overnight preview the Skoda Superb Scout, which will once again come with a raised ride height.
It's unclear from the pictures whether or not the all-wheel drive wagon will come with protective plastic cladding on the front and rear fenders, sills and bumpers.
The most recent teaser follows on from a similar dark silhouette of the sedan being revealed, and another for its advanced LED matrix headlights that will be a new option for the Superb.
Set to land in Australian showrooms from around October, the facelifted model is expected to introduce fresh powertrains and an all-new infotainment system that will bring Apple CarPlay.
In Europe, the biggest news around the Superb is the Czech car-maker offering its first ever plug-in hybrid.
The Superb PHEV is set to lift its advanced powertrain from the Volkswagen Passat GTE, providing a pure-electric range of around 50km.
Combining a 115kW/250Nm 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine with a small 85kW electric motor, in total the Superb is expect to match the VW's 160kW/400Nm outputs and sip fuel at the rate of 1.6L/100km.
Despite offering commendable efficiency and decent pace, for now at least the plug-in version of the heavily updated Superb is ruled out for Australia.
We'll know more about the versions we will get in the coming days.
