2024 Jeep Avenger: Australian pricing and specs

Three versions of Jeep’s all-new battery-electric small SUV will be offered in Australia from launch later this year

The 2024 Jeep Avenger will start from $53,990 plus on-road costs when it arrives here in the fourth quarter of this year, with three grades of the battery-electric small SUV to be offered from launch.

The local line-up will comprise the Longitude (from $53,990), Limited (from $57,990) and Summit (from $63,990) model grades.

All rely on the same 115kW/260Nm single-motor powertrain, combined with a 54kWh battery.

Jeep Australia says the battery should provide up to 396km of cruising range between charges and can be recharged at up to 100kW when using DC power, something that will take the battery from 20-80 per cent in a claimed 24 minutes.

Using an 11kW AC wallbox will replenish the battery from 0-100 per cent in a claimed 5.5h.

Standard equipment highlights on the base Longitude include 17-inch ‘silver gloss’ alloy wheels, leather-clad steering wheel, 10.25-inch infotainment screen, 7.0-inch digital cockpit, keyless start, adaptive cruise control, reversing camera with dynamic guidelines, Selec-Terrain drive modes, hill descent control, connected services, a frameless auto-dimming mirror and 7kW AC onboard charger.

Safety systems include autonomous emergency braking (AEB), blind spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist and driver attention assist.

Step up to the mid-range Limited and a widescreen 10.25-inch virtual cockpit is added to the mix alongside leather-trimmed seats, a wireless charging pad, second-row USB port, sat-nav, keyless entry, power tailgate, heated and folding wing mirrors, puddle lamps, traffic sign information, a height-adjustable cargo floor and a gutsier 11kW AC charger.

At the top of the tree, the flagship Summit adds 18-inch diamond-cut alloys, leather upholstery, power-adjustable and massaging driver’s seat, heated front seats, privacy glass, LED projector headlights, LED tail-lights, LED fog lights with cornering function, gloss black seven-slot grille, bi-colour roof and a sunroof.

Every variant is available in up to seven different exterior colours – Ruby, Volcano, Stone, Lake, Sun, Granite and Snow – five of which can be ordered with an optional black roof ($495).

While designed from the outset as a Jeep and inspired by the brand’s off-road exploits, offering 200mm of ground clearance and representing the first front-drive application of Selec-Terrain and hill descent control, the Avenger is not expected to be an all-terrain weapon like other members in the stable.
