2025 BMW 118 Sport Collection adds value

BMW Australia has expanded its Sport Collection limited-edition line-up with the 2025 BMW 118 Sport Collection, priced from $64,000 drive-away when sales kick off in the coming months.

Following the formula introduced on the 2025 BMW X1 sDrive18i, this special edition adds free metallic paint and a panoramic glass roof atop the regular 118 hatch’s specification.

As before, the BMW 118 Sport Collection comes equipped with the M Sport pack, 18-inch alloy wheels, adaptive M suspension and heated electric front seats with memory.

Powering the front wheels is BMW’s familiar 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. Outputs remain at 115kW/230Nm, enabling a 0–100km/h time of 8.5 seconds, while fuel consumption is rated at 6.4L/100km.

BMW hasn’t confirmed the total savings for the Sport Collection, but the regular 118 hatch costs $57,600 before on-road costs – translating to roughly $64,000 drive-away depending on the state.

To match the Sport Collection’s spec on a standard 118, buyers would normally pay $1308 for metallic paint and need to option the $5000 Enhancement Pack for the panoramic roof. However, that pack also includes 19-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel and a premium sound system – features absent from this special edition.

The 2025 BMW 118 Sport Collection is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in late Q3 this year.
