Ford Australia has relaunched the limited run Ranger Black Edition from $57,000 drive-away, marking a $1000 discount compared to the last time it was available.
Having easily sold-out first time out in 2024, the 2025 Ford Ranger Black Edition is back to offer budget-conscious ute buyers some extra value and exclusivity, with its drive-away pricing being just $2370 upstream of its donor vehicle’s sticker price ($54,630) – without any of the associated on-road costs.
Compared to the standard XL Bi-turbo, the Black Edition adds a carpeted floor with carpet floor mat for the driver, a black long-legged sports bar, drop-in bedliner, cargo management system, unique black 17-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, black side steps and a unique black mesh grille with bolder grey inserts.
No changes have been made to the 154kW/500Nm 2.0-litre bi-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine under the bonnet, nor the 10-speed automatic transmission it operates through, meaning all the usual Ranger capabilities are retained.
Production of the Ranger Black Edition will run across September and October, with the first examples due here at the start of Q4.
