Hyundai Australia has finally revealed its updated i20 N hot hatch, following it outing via a leaked dealer bulletin.
Completely unchanged mechanically but donning a new grille, black badging and machine-faced 18-inch alloy wheels, the 2024 Hyundai i20 N will arrive in showrooms next month priced from $35,500, marking a minor $510 price increase over the outgoing model.
Inside the cabin you’ll now find LED interior lighting blacked-out Hyundai emblems on the gearlever and steering wheel, while tech upgrades are led by the addition of Hyundai’s Bluelink connected services which offers an SOS emergency call function, remote vehicle tracking and remote access to climate control functions etc.
A 150kW/275Nm 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine still lurks under the bonnet, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission – there’s no auto option.
The optional black roof once again commands a $1000 premium to the invoice while premium paint adds $595.
“The updated 2025 Hyundai i20 N is proof that some of the greatest things come in small packages,” Hyundai Australia CEO Ted Lee said.
“Sometimes a performance car’s recipe is so good that only small tweaks are required, and by boosting the i20 N’s technology and styling, Hyundai has elevated an outstanding and accessible performance package to another level.”
The 2024 Hyundai i20 N is due in Aussie showrooms from November 2024, without the infuriating intelligent speed limit assist that’s fitted to all other new Hyundais, including the bigger i30 N.
