Hyundai has mildly updated its 2025 Santa Fe family SUV with some new wheels and the addition of Digital Key 2 functionality.
The 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe is now $400 more expensive than before thanks to a mild technology and cosmetic upgrade ready for the 2026 model year.
Said tech upgrade is the addition of Digital Key 2 which allows owners to lock, unlock and start their vehicle via a smartphone or watch, negating the need for a physical key fob and allowing access to the vehicle to be shared by up to 15 people.
The tech’s inclusion on the MY26 Santa Fe marks its third Hyundai deployment Down Under behind the luxury Ioniq 9 and MY26 Tucson, with the second-gen Palisade set to follow suit when it arrives in a few months.
No changes have been made to the 2.5-litre turbo-petrol (206kW/422Nm) or 1.6-litre turbo-hybrid (172kW/367Nm) powertrains, chassis set-ups or equipment lists beyond the addition of Digital Key 2 and the revised alloy wheels.
The updated 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe will arrive in showrooms next month, with the bigger Palisade set to follow in Q4.
