2025 Leapmotor C10 updated remotely

Leapmotor has finally rolled out a remote update for its C10 medium SUV, adding tech and safety enhancements – just don’t expect Apple CarPlay yet.

The 2025 Leapmotor C10 was heavily criticised in the past for the calibration of its active driver assistance systems (ADAS), so it’s no surprise the first major over-the-air (OTA) update focuses on driver assistance.

According to Leapmotor, drivers can now change “most” ADAS settings in any gear – rather than having to stop and select park – while the sensors for the adaptive cruise control and lane centring systems have been “refined”.

Other safety-related enhancements include the integrated dashcam now recording 360 degrees, more subdued audio alerts and a memory function for drivers which lets them save presets for selected ADAS and driving modes.

Updates include an ‘avoid tolls’ option for satnav, improved street name clarity and routing logic, enhanced voice recognition and a Leapmotor app upgrade for two linked accounts.

QDLink and Radioline have also been added; the former facilitating Android phone projection and the latter providing access to thousands of digital radio stations.

“From September 19, customers will have received notifications for the Leapmotor C10 and C10 REEV update, which introduces a range of new features and refinements designed to elevate the driving experience,” Leapmotor said.

“Upon receiving the notification, customers must connect their vehicle to Wi-Fi to download the update.

“Once the download is complete, they will be prompted to install the update directly from the vehicle’s interface.”

There’s currently no timeline as to when Apple CarPlay will be added to the C10’s equipment list, despite previously being promised as a headline feature of a future OTA.
