The 2025 Mazda CX-30 range has been upgraded in Australia with more standard kit and a new Touring LE model grade.
Introduced from this September, the 2025 Mazda CX-30 updates include the introduction of Mazda Connected Services that adds a built-in SIM card to the small SUV.
This allows CX-30 owners to benefit from a whole host of features previously unavailable to them that include the vehicle being able to automatically dial for the emergency services when it thinks the Mazda has been in an accident, or via a user-activated SOS button.
Features that will be more useful on a daily basis include being able to remotely check your car's tyre pressures, lock or unlock the car, flash the headlamps, set a curfew, or geofence or track your car if it's been stolen – that are all available via the MyMazda app for your smartphone.
Mazda says the new Connected Services feature is free for the first three years from when the vehicle is registered and then available on a subscription basis, although the brand has yet to reveal prices or details.
Other changes in the CX-30 line-up include the addition of the Touring LE variant that is matched with the 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated G20 petrol engine, that pumps out 114kW and 200Nm of torque.
Gaining a black exterior styling pack similar to the 2.5-litre GT SP variant, the new Touring LE gets a dark grille, black alloy wheels and mirror caps and is matched with a new terracotta faux leather covered seats that features black synthetic suede inserts.
Within the mid-spec Touring LE gets the Vision Technology pack as standard that adds a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, front-cross traffic alert, driver monitoring and traffic jam assist.
Other changes elsewhere in the range include dropping USB-A charging ports for more modern USB-C connection, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus new wireless charging is introduced on the Evolve trim and variants above.
Like before the 2025 Mazda CX-30 is available in nine different paint finishes with the premium paint adding $595 to the cost of the small SUV.
Speaking of pricing the new CX-30 G20 Touring LE starts at $41,490 plus on-roads –?$500 more than the standard G20 Touring with the Vision Technology pack added.
Prices have risen for the 2025 Mazda CX-30 by $800 across the range, except for the G20 Evolve that now costs $1000 more.
