2025 Mazda2 and 2025 Mazda CX-3 ranges tweaked
Mazda’s light hatch and SUV duo get mild MY25 updates headlined by more safety kit and fewer variantsThe 2025 Mazda2 and 2025 Mazda CX-3 line-ups have arrived in Aussie showrooms packing more standard equipment and safety gear, but fewer model grades.
The headline news for the best-selling CX-3 is that the entry-level Sport trim has been dropped, meaning the range now opens with the $30,370 (plus ORCs) Pure – marking an entry point increase of $3420 – which has gone up $920 as part of the update.
Customers will get more for their money however, with the Pure gaining 18-inch alloy wheels and more advanced driver assists like smart brake support and adaptive cruise control.
The tech has been added to the now $32,100 Evolve (+$900) along with fog lamps, keyless entry, black 18-inch alloy wheels and black leatherette seat and door trim.
Towards the top of the range, the Touring SP has been replaced by the GT SP ($35,330) that adds a seven-speaker Bose sound system and new 18-inch rims while the flagship Akari ($38,890) goes unchanged besides some redesigned 18-inch alloys.
Changes to the 2025 Mazda2 range meantime have been a bit more drastic with the previously seven-variant line-up being trimmed to just three, spanning two trims.
The Mazda2 Evolve replaces the Pure model as the cheapest offering from $26,990 (+$620) and nabs the same driver assists as the CX-3, with prices rising to $28,190 (+120) for the better-equipped GT.
