National drive-away pricing for the 2025 MG4 Excite 51 has been increased for the New Year, at the same time as deals on other variants of the all-electric small hatch have been scrapped.
From now on, the MG4 Excite 51 is priced from $34,990 drive away in all Australian states – $2000 more than before.
Confirming that the MG4 Excite 64 will no longer be available with nationwide drive-away pricing, the second rung of the electric MG hatch will now cost $41,990 before on-road costs – a substantial $10,000 more than before – while the $8000 factory bonuses for the Essence 64, Long Range 77 and flagship XPower have all expired.
With the new price increase, Australia's cheapest new electric vehicle is now the GWM
Ora hatch, which costs $33,990 drive away for the Standard Range and $34,990 for the Extended Range.
The 2024 MG4 Excite 51 was priced as low as $30,990 drive away for a limited stretch last year between September 20 and October 31.
