2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S priced for Aus

Updated Carrera S matches previous GTS for dynamic capability and performance

Porsche has revealed the latest addition to its facelifted 911 portfolio: the 2025 Carrera S.

Available to order now from $342,700 plus on-road costs, the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera S is said by its creators to be “most dynamic 911 Carrera S ever” thanks to the addition of Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, bigger brakes, reworked dampers, a revised power steering set-up and optimised front axle kinematics.

The new chassis set-up is paired with an enhanced powertrain now chucking out 353kW/530Nm – 22kW more than the old version – thanks to a pair of new turbochargers, enhancements to the intercooling system and myriad other fundamental tweaks.

Offered exclusively with Porsche’s renowned eight-speed ‘PDK’ dual-clutch automatic transmission, the new Carrera S remains rear wheel drive-only and will launch from 0-100km/h in a claimed 3.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 308km/h.

All these factors amount to a level of performance and dynamic capability previously reserved only for the GTS, especially when fitted with the optional rear axle steering system, ceramic composite braking package and Porsche Active Suspension Management system.

Advertising the newfound grunt and capability is a design inspired by the previous-gen 911 Turbo, meaning the front end is defined by a segmented bumper broken into three primary sections, albeit with two smaller air ducts nestled in for good measure and an extra point of difference.

The whole ensemble rolls on staggered 20-inch front; 21-inch rear alloy wheels shod with sticky Michelin tyres.

Headline equipment includes leather upholstery, matrix LED headlights, wireless smartphone charging, adaptive cruise control, lane change assist and rear assist, comfort access, 14-way power-adjustable sports seats with memory function, A Bose surround sound system, digital radio, parking entry package and a tyre fit set.

The like most other core 911 variants, the new Carrera S is being offered both as a coupe and as a fabric-top cabriolet, the latter of which starts from $365,400 plus on-road costs.
