The 2025 VW Polo and VW T-Roc line-ups will arrive in the coming weeks offering more equipment and safety tech, albeit at a price.
Due in local showrooms by the end of the quarter but available to order now, the entry-level Polo Life is now $1300 more expensive than before at $30,790 plus on-road costs while the Style ($34,790) and GTI ($41,790) have risen $2250 and $1400 respectively.
Adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and Travel Assist have all been added to the base model whereas the mid-range Style nabs keyless entry with push button start, satellite navigation, wireless App-Connect and wireless smartphone charging.
No changes have been made to the sporty GTI flagship.
The T-Roc meantime now starts from $38,990 (+$2000) and tops out at $64,990 (+$1500), though not all variants score meaningful upgrades.
Again starting at the bottom, the CityLife gets Side Assist (blind-spot detection) tech, rear cross traffic alert and Proactive Occupant Protection (seatbelt pretensioning).
Upgrades elsewhere in the range include a new steering wheel for the R-Line with buttons instead of haptic controls and five years of free access to VW’s GoConnect smartphone app – for all models – that lets you remotely check fuel levels, activate the climate control, lock or unlock the doors, check the service schedule and check its location.
