The 2026 Geely EX2 electric hatch arrives this month priced from $26,490 plus on-road costs, with two versions being offered across the Complete and Inspire trim levels.

The Finer Details
Powering the base Complete is a 60kW/150Nm electric motor – on the rear axle – which draws current from a 35.3kWh battery which in turn provides a WLTP cruising range of up to 252km and can be recharged at up to 60kW on DC power.
The Inspire ups the ante in every respect with an 80kW/150Nm motor, a 47.1kWh battery, 345km range and 80kW fast-charging capabilities, plus more equipment.
Headline kit on the Complete includes 16-inch steel wheels, a 14.6-inch multimedia system, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, powered front seats, a four-speaker sound system, LED exterior lighting, four drive modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Snow) and Geely Connected Services (activating in August).
Stepping up to the Inspire adds 16-inch alloys, a contrasting black roof, power tailgate, metallic accents, rain-sensing wipers, vanity lights, 256-colour ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and a six-speaker sound system (as well as the beefier powertrain).
Standard safety kit across the range includes but isn’t limited to seven airbags, rear parking sensors, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, collision warning, cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, traffic sign information, lane change assist, blind spot detection, evasive manoeuvre assist, driver fatigue alert, auto lane change assist and occupant detection alert.
All EX2s ride on multi-link rear suspension and boast a 375L boot as well as a 70L frunk.
The Road Ahead
Due in local showrooms at the end of the month, every Geely EX2 purchased and delivered by August 31 will come with a complimentary 7kW home charger (excludes installation) and free metallic paint upgrade – Moon White is the no-cost default.
All of Geely’s EVs are covered by a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty with eight years coverage for the battery pack.
