The 2026 GWM Haval H10 has been revealed, with the three-row plug-in hybrid flagship SUV set to make its first official public debut at the upcoming Beijing motor show. Known internally by its HX codename, GWM Australia says it’s keen to bring the boxy off-road SUV to Oz, however it’s yet to be officially locked in.

The Haval H10 (codenamed internally HX) is the brand’s flagship SUV, slotting above the H9 (not currently offered Down Under) to rival the likes of the Toyota Prado, Land Rover Defender and Denza B5, among others.
Measuring up at 5299mm long, 2050mm wide and 1970mm tall, the three-row SUV is set to be offered in its domestic market in both five and six seat layouts, with two plug-in hybrid powertrain options.
Underpinned by an 800-volt architecture, the turbo-petrol engines on offer comprise a 123kW 1.5-litre or a 175kW 2.0-litre, each supported by a pair of electric motors and a 42.8kWh LFP battery pack good for up to 180km of range.
Other features include LED lighting all round, side steps, roof rails, a side-hinged rear tailgate and a host of semi-autonomous driving aids thanks to a roof-mounted LiDAR system.

Although it’s yet to be locked in for Oz, where it’d sell alongside the H6 and H7 as well as the ladder-frame Tank 300 and Tank 500, GWM Australia says the H10 is of interest.
“The Haval HX is a model we are keen to introduce to the Australian market, and we continue to explore its potential introduction,” a spokesperson told carsales.
