Stellantis Australia has bolstered the local Leapmotor C10 lineup with the addition of the Design Long Range (LR) BEV, which is priced from $49,888 plus on-road costs and boasts a claimed range of up to 510km (WLTP).

Following on from the C10 AWD Sports+ Special Edition announced in March, the Design LR BEV blends some of the dual-motor’s sharper performance with a significantly longer range than the lesser single-motor variant.
Zero-100km/h takes a claimed 6.2 seconds thanks to the new 220kW/360Nm motor while, if driven gently, the enlarged 81.9kWh battery pack will supposedly provide up to 510km of WLTP range.
Other upgrades include Yokohama ADVAN Sport EV tyres, two NFC keycards as standard and a sealant cannister?included as part of the tyre inflation kit.

Light White has also been added to the C10’s colour palette.
Equipment highlights comprise 20-inch alloys, LED headlights, flush door handles, dual-zone climate control, a 12-speaker audio system, wireless phone charging, a 10.25-inch driver’s instrument cluster, 14.6-inch central infotainment screen, silicone upholstery, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, an electric tailgate and ambient interior lighting.
Leapmotor is yet to announce exactly when the first cars will be entering showrooms, but we’d expect it to be fairly soon, if not already.
All C10 BEVs are covered by a six-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year/160,000km battery warranty.
