Mitsubishi has increased prices of its Outlander medium SUV for 2026 and reintroduced the dolled-up Black Edition back into the middle of the range. Beyond the new variant and a new colour scheme for the Exceed Tourer, there are no significant changes to the line-up or specifications of any variant.

Based on the LS grade, the returning Black Edition is exclusively being offered as a front-drive seven-seater $1450 upstream of its donor, the extra cash netting buyers a black grille, front and rear bumper trims, door mirrors, 20-inch alloys, B and C-pillars, as well as a black headlining and black synthetic leather/Granlux seat trims.
Other than that, the equipment list reads the same as the LS: 12.3-inch infotainment system (with wireless smartphone projection, connected services, sat-nav), a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, driver monitoring, camera-linked rear autonomous braking, a top-view camera and traffic sign recognition with active cruise control and speed limit link.
Under the bonnet is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine (135kW/245Nm) driving the front wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
As for the rest of the range, prices are up $750 across the board, save for the entry-level ES 2WD 5 Seat which has stayed put at $39,990 plus on-road costs.

The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander Black Edition, along with the rest of the ‘MY26’ range, will arrive in local showrooms in May – still backed by Mitsubishi Australia’s 10-year/200,000km warranty.
