Land Rover has just revealed a handful of special-edition Range Rover models inspired by a Melbourne street, with a price tag befitting the model’s extremely limited production run.
Priced from a whopping $507,047 before on-road costs, just five examples of the Range Rover SV Bespoke Collins Edition will be made available and, you guessed it, the model was inspired by Melbourne’s historic Collins Street, likened by some as the Aussie equivalent to Paris’ Champs-Elysees.
And with the popular CBD destination’s luxury boutique stores, soaring modern towers, and rich heritage buildings, there’s now a limited-edition SUV that’s all glammed up to fit right in.
To help set it apart, the Range Rover SV Bespoke Collins Edition features a bespoke Satin Grey exterior hue and chrome Range Rover script badging.
Exclusive to Australia and said to ‘encapsulate the essence of a city jewel’, Collins Edition models ride on satin dark grey 23-inch wheels with satin black inserts, over black brake callipers.
Inside, a Caraway and Ebony leather-clad interior combines with ceramic black controls and moonlight chrome ‘jewellery’, while natural black birch finishes are found throughout.
Based on the flagship Range Rover SV, the limited Collins Edition comes powered by a 452kW/750Nm 4.4-litre twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8.
That hefty powertrain will prod the SUV from zero to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 261km/h, proving – perhaps like its namesake – that this is one exclusive Rangie with style and substance.
