7-Eleven creates custom Mustang inspired by snacks
One lucky customer in the US has the chance to win a one-of-a-kind 7-Eleven-inspired sportscar complete with pizza holder.Custom cars are always full of high-tech, high-power and high-impact features which the regular road-going versions lack, so when 7-Eleven in the USA asked fans what features they wanted in a unique Ford Mustang, they delivered.
Brought to life by famous automotive restoration shop, Galpin Auto Sports in Los Angeles, the 2021 Ford Mustang renamed the Model 711, has been transformed into any 7-Eleven lover’s fantasy.
On the outside, the Model 711 has been wrapped featuring the convenience store’s iconic colours. Paired with super green rims and a cherry red under glow mirroring the iconic neon 7-Eleven sign, it also wears a night owl emblem on the front grill in a subtle reminder of when the store's most popular shopping hours are for snacks.
While on the inside, the driver of the Model 711 will sit like royalty on slick leather seats embellished with red, orange, and green sunset stripes. The car will be driven with the assistance of a Slurpee gear shifter as an ode to the iconic frozen beverage.
The Model 711 even comes with a custom pizza snack holder which sits directly next to cup holders big enough for a Slurpee. But the best part isn’t just what you can see – it’s what you can smell. The aroma of fresh 7-Eleven coffee will fill Model 711’s interior thanks to a custom-made air freshener.
One lucky customer in the USA has the chance to win the Model 711 by purchasing select items at their stores.
“We know our customers have an affinity towards car culture, so building a one-of-a-kind car inspired by our most iconic products was a no brainer,” said Marissa Jarratt, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at 7-Eleven.
