A Royal MINI fit for a Prince

Forget the commemorative plates, tea towels and spoons your grandmother has collected from every Royal wedding from the past 50 years... MINI has created a one-off version of its iconic hatch to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that is sure to impress even the staunchest republicans out there.

Plus it is for a good cause.

The unique one-of-a-kind MINI will be donated to the couple's chosen charity, The Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA) where it will be auctioned off after the couple’s big day on the 19th of May.

On the outside, this unique three-door MINI Cooper S hatch features styling and finishes fit for a princess which are sure to make you stand out from the crowd and easily find your MINI in the carpark.

The roof’s hand crafted graphic is stylised by combining the couple's national flags of the Union Jack and the Stars & Stripes in a very abstract way. While a more traditional homage to the Royal couple is shown on the side scuttles around the indicators which have the initials M and H with a heart and rings. Très chic.

Also, when you open the doors, the words "Just Married" are projected onto the ground in front of the driver’s and front-passenger door.

While on the inside, the first names of the bride and groom, the date of the royal nuptials and well wishes to the newlyweds have been etched into the large trim strip ahead of the front passenger seat.

The abstract take on the Union Jack and the Stars & Stripes also carries through the interior throughout the door trims, the dash and head rests.

Being the MINI Cooper S model, it's powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine (141kW/280Nm).

Unfortunately the faces of the couple do not appear on the wheels like the dinner plates Harry’s brother William features on... but for a modern royal couple, this MINI is a truly smashing way to commemorate the wedding event of the year.
