Renault has acknowledged the dual-purpose versatility of its Kangoo Maxi Crew van by introducing a new Lifestyle Pack option for just $1290.
Appealing even more to customers needing a work vehicle during the week and a family vehicle after hours, the Lifestyle Pack provides Kangoo owners with a premium R-Link audio facility (with digital radio) and navigation system running through a seven-inch touch screen.
In addition, the Lifestyle Pack also features a leather-bound steering wheel, privacy glass and vents for rear-seat passengers. For $290 more, Kangoo buyers can also order opening side windows for the rear-seat passengers.
Distinguishing the Kangoo with the Lifestyle Pack from standard models are external features such as a restyled, colour-coordinated front bumper, a painted rear bumper and gloss-black mirrors.
The Lifestyle Pack is only available on the long-wheelbase Kangoo Maxi Crew variant, which is built on the Scenic passenger-car platform and powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.
Coinciding with the launch of the new option pack, all Kangoo models sold in Australia and built after June 2016 are now fitted as standard with side-impact airbags for the front passengers and reverse-parking sensors.
"The Kangoo Lifestyle Pack gives customers an added level of comfort and style for a working vehicle that can also double as weekend family transport," says Lyndon Healey, Renault LCV Model Line Manager.
"Even when configured to carry five adults there is still good load space behind the rear seats, and with the optional rear side windows fitted, the van looks and feels like a family car. In fact, the Kangoo Maxi Crew Lifestyle could earn its keep as a highly efficient taxi, premium airport shuttle or multi-role courier vehicle."
