Alfa Romeo’s most important car in over a decade has been leaked ahead of the world’s debut at 5:00pm on June 24 (1:00am AEST Thursday, June 25).
Suspected of being leaked by insiders at the Alfa Romeo museum, where the Giulia will be revealed tonight, two images of the premium mid-size rear-drive sedan appeared overnight on numerous car blogs.
The blurred and grainy images, which confirm the car will indeed be called the Giulia, are thought to be our first glimpse of the production version of the car that’s due on sale globally next year.
The vehicle seen here is also believed to be the BMW M3-rivalling Giulia Quadrifoglio, which will be available from launch with a 380kW 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 sourced from Ferrari and also seen in the Maserati Ghibli.
motoring.com.au understands that eventually a two-door coupe and even a convertible Giulia will also be offered after the sedan sedan’s launch.
Expect more details -- and clearer pics -- following the official reveal late tonight.
