The Finer Details

The all-new Nissan Patrol has entered production in Japan ahead of its Australian launch, with the first right-hand-drive examples now rolling off the line at Nissan Shatai's Kyushu factory.

Nissan says larger frame side members have increased torsional rigidity by 40 per cent compared with the outgoing Y62.

High-strength steel now makes up 27 per cent of the Patrol's body structure, up from six per cent in the outgoing model.

Nissan says the change contributes to a stronger body structure while helping to manage vehicle weight.

The new chassis also supports a 3700kg maximum braked towing capacity.

The Road Ahead

The all-new Nissan Patrol is expected to launch in Australia in the coming months, with the first customer deliveries scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

Nissan has yet to announce local pricing and full Australian specifications.
