Y63 Nissan Patrol arriving in early 2027

Nissan Australia has locked in an early 2027 arrival for its all-new Y63 Patrol and confirmed order books will open later this month, however local pricing is yet to be announced.

That new ETA is obviously later than communicated (H2 of 2026) at the Y63’s global reveal in September 2024 and means former Nissan Oceania boss Andrew Humberstone was unsuccessful in securing the petrol LandCruiser rival for our market up to six months early – left-hand drive demand is simply too strong.

There’s little doubt the V6-powered Y63 will cost more than its V8 predecessor, especially when you consider certain versions of the new model will come with height-adjustable adaptive air suspension, 14.3-inch screens, a head-up display, a 12-speaker Klipsch sound system, biometric cooling and ‘zero gravity’ massage seats.

The twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 stashed under the bonnet outputs 317kW/700Nm and drives all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Orders for the new 2027 Nissan Patrol will open in the coming weeks, meaning we don’t have long at all to wait until local pricing and the model range is announced – expect to see the familiar Ti and Ti-L grades return and eventually be complemented by a Warrior off-road hero.

Nissan says the first customer cars will arrive early next year, specifically in the first quarter.
