Australia’s final Honda Jazz revealed

The Honda Jazz will disappear from Australian showrooms indefinitely by mid-2021 as part of a new local retail strategy for the Japanese brand, but that hasn’t stopped it celebrating with a special-edition send-off for its smallest model.

Priced from $19,990 plus on-road costs ($1300 more than the entry-level $18,690 Jazz VTi auto on which it’s based), the Jazz Final Edition will become available later this month.

Unique features are limited to the same 16-inch black alloy wheels and matching black mirror caps seen previously on last year’s Jazz 50 Years Edition model.

Only four paint colours will be available and buyers will pay more unless they choose Rally Red (pictured), with Platinum White Pearlescent, Phoenix Orange Pearlescent and Modern Steel Metallic all costing an extra $560.

Along with its sedan sister model, the Honda City that will also soon be axed in Australia, the Honda Jazz scored a new 7.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay with Siri Eyes Free and Android Auto with Google Voice as part of an MY21 Jazz update in April this year.

Other standard features across the Jazz range include a multi-angle reversing camera, Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming, Magic Seats and a CVT automatic transmission with Eco Assist and ECON modes that help return fuel consumption of 5.9L/100km.
