•6 Feb 2026The Bendix Ultimate Tow+ Electronic Brake Controller is designed to take the complexity out of setting up trailer brakes – particularly for drivers who want a clean install and the flexibility to move between vehicles.
Instead of hard-wiring a controller into the dash, the Ultimate Tow+ system plugs into a standard 12-volt socket and communicates wirelessly with a trailer-mounted module. This means no interior trim removal or cutting into wiring looms is required, reducing installation time from hours to just a few minutes.
The device does away with apps, Bluetooth pairing and Wi-Fi connections, relying instead on a dedicated controller that is always ready to use. Its plug-in plug-out portability makes it well suited to fleet vehicles, rental trailers, caravans, or anyone who tows different loads from week to week and wants a controller they can take with them.

Control is handled through a simple rotary dial. Brake force can be adjusted by twisting the dial, while pressing it manually applies the trailer brakes. This can be useful for managing trailer sway or maintaining control while going downhill, particularly in low-grip conditions.
If the trailer connection is interrupted, the system maintains the last selected brake setting and provides clear visual and audible alerts, helping to remove uncertainty and enhance safety while towing.
The trailer module itself is rated to IP67, making it suitable for beach launches and river crossings. It has been designed and tested for Australian conditions and is backed by a five-year warranty, reinforcing its positioning as a robust, first-choice towing solution.
