Bentley says it will be the first car-maker to introduce super-fast secure in-car WiFi when it fits the new Bentley Advanced Connectivity system in all of its 2019 models.
The British luxury brand claims the high-speed in-car internet connection will allow high-definition movie streaming, video conferencing and virtual office applications at speeds of up to 70mph (113km/h).
"Users will benefit from Bentley Skype for Business and significant virtual office applications, such as the ability to access and edit files on the go, hold vital video conferences, conduct multiple meetings and be present for crucial discussions, all in a secure virtual environment," said Bentley.

The technology was created in partnership with communications company Viasat, which manages 14 million WiFi hotspots in nearly 30 countries and helped bring in-flight WiFi to commercial aircraft.
The Bentley Advanced Connectivity system involves a broadband-connected hub outside the vehicle and an onboard WiFi router to establish a virtual private network (VPN) that can aggregate as many as three mobile networks into one strong signal.
And here we were thinking that’s what our smartphone WiFi hotspot did…
