It's nearing crunch time for Bentley as the British luxury carmaker wrestles with the toughest of choices for its fifth model line.
Favoured by its engineers and the British press is a production version of the 2015 Geneva Motor Show's EXP10 Speed 6 two-door coupe concept, far smaller and more focused as a driver's car than the Continental GT.
In the opposite camp is the assured profit potential of a smaller SUV to sit beneath next year's Range Rover-challenging Bentayga SUV.
Britain's Autocar magazine is quoting Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer as insisting the prestigious car maker was too small to work on both models at the same time.
Both cars are under study for production, with Durheimer admitting the company will need to make a decision late next year or early in 2017.
