Volkswagen Australia has announced a $3000 factory bonus for the flagship versions of its two most popular models, the Volkswagen Amarok ute and Volkswagen T-Roc small SUV.
The 2024 Volkswagen Amarok Aventura TSI452 is the solitary petrol flagship of the German brand’s second-generation dual-cab 4x4 ute range, and VW says it has secured extra production.
The $3000 factory bonus comes off the drive-away price of both the MY23 and MY24 Amarok Aventura TSI (normally priced at $79,990 plus on-road costs), which is powered by a 222kW/452Nm 2.3-litre turbo-petrol engine matched to a 10-speed automatic transmission as standard.
It also comes off the $64,990 national drive-away price of the MY23 VW T-Roc R, which normally costs $61,990 plus ORCs.
A further $1500 factory bonus can be had off the $66,990 drive-away price of MY24 versions of the hot compact SUV, which gain a Beats sound system and power tailgate as standard.
Australia is the world’s biggest market for both the T-Roc R and the Amarok – which last week placed a close second to the Ford Ranger on which it’s based in carsales’ Best Dual-Cab 4x4 Ute award for 2024 – and the $3000 factory bonus is available for both premium variants until September 30.
