2026 Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label V6 priced

A new limited-edition Volkswagen Amarok called the Dark Label V6 has dropped as part of the revised 2026 lineup. Based on the Style grade, a total of 200 Dark Label V6s be made available with black-out features and a $76,990 drive-away price tag.

It slots into a reshuffled Amarok range that sees the 2.3-litre turbo-petrol engine relegated from the top of the range (Aventura) to the bottom (Style), with the rest of the range powered exclusively by the immensely popular V6 diesel, including the box-fresh W600.

Key features of the latest black-themed ute to come to market include 20-inch matte black alloy wheels, IQ.Light LED-Matrix headlights with black surrounds, darkened taillights, black sports bar, side steps, black rear bumper, door handles and mirror caps.

Going dark upfront is a black X-design front bumper and black front skid plate while roof rails and B-pillar foil are matte black.

Further inclusions are a spray-in tub liner (you guessed it: it’s black), tonneau cover, and Dark Label sticker pack on the bonnet, doors, tub and tailgate.

The Dark Label is powered by what’s now the default Amarok powertrain: a 3.0-litre turbo-diesel V6 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4x4 system.

The Dark Label forms part of a broader MY26 restructure of the Amarok range which has cut away Core and Life trims and dropped the four-cylinder diesels (for private buyers), making the TDI600 the only engine available except for the 2.3-litre turbo-petrol in the Style TSI452.
