BMW's new G11 generation of 7 Series is barely a week away from its global debut, and the prestige manufacturer has provided the clearest view yet of the new car's styling details.
Previously, the manufacturer had teased us with distant views of the new car blurred, or revealing little other than a roofline or a bit of infotainment screen. Importantly, however, BMW did reveal at the time that the new 7 would offer self parking from the advanced 'Display Key' control, gesture control, light-weight 'carbon core' construction and Laserlight headlights.
As we reported a couple of weeks ago – and following from an online leak of an image revealing the new 7 Series in profile – BMW aspires to regain the mantle of technology leader from the W222 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The reveal of the new-generation 7 Series will take place Wednesday, June 10, but the car's first major public outing will be at Frankfurt in September, with an Australian launch believed to be scheduled for early 2016.
