Butch new Ford Ranger MS-RT revealed

Ford’s British aftermarket partner, MS-RT, has released a new Ford Ranger upgrade kit – and it’s on the way to Australia too.

Available from selected Ford dealers in the UK and Europe from mid-2021, MS-RT’s new-look bling kit replaces the extensive Ranger treatment that’s already on offer here.

Local release timing and pricing are not yet confirmed, but MS-RT’s new Ranger enhancement pack will replace a package that isn’t cheap at $26,950.

However, the latest Ford Ranger bling kit from the people that brought us a series of MS-RT Ford Transit Custom vans and the VR46 Valentino Rossi Ranger looks as extensive as the last.

MS-RT, which been awarded Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) status by Ford, says its new Ranger kit offers customers a high-end, motorsport-inspired but street-focused version of the best-selling 4x4 pick-up in Australia and Europe.

Designed in partnership with WRC team M-Sport, it will again come with full ADR compliance.

Included this time is a redesigned front bumper with new fog lights and a new carbon-fibre effect grille treatment, which is echoed on the door mirrors, plus MS-RT badging for the front doors and tailgate.

There’s also a set of aggressive flared wheel-arches, broader side steps, new 20-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels and a more aerodynamic version of the standard pick-up’s rear load bar.

Inside, there’s an ambient lighting system, MS-RT-branded floor mats, a new leather steering wheel and seats retrimmed in black leather upholstery and contrasting orange stitching – with embroidered MS-RT logos up front.
