Citroen Australia is offering a free safety tech pack valued at $5000 for buyers of its Grand C4 Picasso seven-seat people-mover until the end of December.
The tech pack includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, collision avoidance alert, active seat belts, electrochromatic rear-view mirror, xenon headlights with smart beam and an electric tailgate.
Priced at $44,990 plus on-road costs, the single-spec Grand Picasso Exclusive is powered by a Euro 6-compliant 2.0-litre turbo-diesel matched with a six-speed automatic transmission.
It comes standard with a 12-inch panoramic HD screen, seven-inch multi-function touch-screen with 8GB Jukebox for storing and playing music, 360-degree Park Assist Pack including blind-spot monitoring, eMyWay satellite-navigation, black and grey Tissu Ondulice cloth trim and 17-inch Boa alloy wheels with tyre pressure monitors and inflation kit.
Also standard is dual-zone climate-control, keyless entry and start, front/rear parking sensors, Cielo panoramic glass roof with electric sunblind, Zenith panoramic windscreen, auto headlights and wipers, front fog lights with static cornering function, LED daytime running lights, power/auto-dipping mirrors with puddle lights, cruise control with speed limiter and an electronic park brake with hill start assist.
"With much of Australia preparing for their annual summer holidays we thought it a great time to give them a little more value for their dollar," said Citroen Australia National Sales Manager, Shaun Mackle.
"The addition of the tech pack to the Grand C4 Picasso will provide motorists looking for safety and convenience a compelling offer ahead of the holiday motoring season – while the Citroen Confidence program will provide them with peace of mind via a leading warranty, service and support program."
The extra safety specification follows the recent addition of third-row air-conditioning to all Grand C4 Picasso models, which are backed by a six-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, six-year/90,000km capped-price servicing and six-year roadside assist program.
The offer is available until December 31 or while stocks last.
