GWM Australia’s Haval Jolion is strong on value in the fast-growing small SUV segment, offering sharp drive-away pricing and a correspondingly long equipment list – and now the Chinese brand is adding further appeal.
Until the end of the year, the top-of-the-range 2023 Haval Jolion S 2WD automatic is available from $33,990 drive-away instead of the usual $36,990 drive-away.
That’s the price that the lower-tier and less-powerful Ultra 2WD usually occupies, so this is more than simply a deal based around equipment – the sportier S adds not only more power and torque from its 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine (130kW/260Nm), but also a multi-link rear suspension set-up, unique exterior design elements, and more.
Over at VW, the German brand is offering a $5000 deposit bonus on the 2023 Volkswagen Arteon 140TSI Elegance automatic, which ramps up the value on the last remaining examples as the prestige sedan (and its wagon counterpart) move out of showrooms.
The offer sees $5000 slashed from the usual $64,590 retail price, taking the swoopy four-door below the $60,000 mark and making a significant dent in the on-road costs.
On the light-commercial vehicle front, the 2023 LDV T60 Max Luxe 4x4 manual slips under the $40,000 mark with this latest offer, which sees the ute priced at $39,490 drive-away for ABN holders.
That’s a saving of $4000 compared to the usual ABN price of $43,490 drive-away.
