There’s less than a week left in the 2022/23 financial year, prompting a rush among Australian car buyers looking to secure an EOFY deal.
Business buyers are also striving to take advantage of the federal government’s generous Instant Asset Write-Off (IAWO) tax break before it’s wound back on June 30, which throws the spotlight onto brands with not only strong deals in the marketplaces but vehicles in stock.
Enter the Peugeot Boxer large commercial van, which has a tempting $5000 EOFY ABN factory bonus on MY22 models in stock.
See the carsales listing here for a 2022 Peugeot Boxer Pro LWB van (MY22) with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with manual transmission, which normally retails for $54,527 plus on-road costs (with an indicative drive-away price of $61,159) but brings that down by $5000 with the factory bonus for ABN holders.
The EOFY deal applies to all MY22 Peugeot Boxer variants, though only until June 30 and for those vehicles ready to drive out of showrooms.
A special offer is also running on the MY22 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Night Eagle, which normally retails for $82,750 plus on-road costs but can be secured under this latest deal for $79,950 drive-away.
That’s a huge saving for the well-specified entry-level model in the new-generation V6-powered long-wheelbase Jeep Grand Cherokee L seven-seat family SUV range, with not only a discount on the RRP but additional costs such as dealer delivery fee, registration and compulsory third-party insurance all covered as well.

There’s also been plenty of attention on the MG brand over the past week as it brings new-generation models to Australia – with highly competitive pricing – including the MG5 small sedan and MG4 electric hatch.
In conjunction, the Chinese car-maker is also offering its smaller MG3 hatch – the top-selling light car in Australia this year, currently with a dominant 45 per cent segment share – for $20,990 drive-away in top-spec Excite trim.
That’s just $1500 above the normal manufacturer’s retail list price for the MG3 Excite, putting a cap on the government charges and other costs involved in reaching the drive-away price.
The MG3 Excite combines a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a four-speed automatic transmission, and as the top-spec model includes 16-inch two-tone machined alloy wheels, a six-speaker stereo with Yamaha 3D Sound Field, higher-grade trim and satellite navigation.
