A mid-size prestige sedan for under $52,000 on the road is an offer just too good to pass up. That’s what’s on the table at Audi dealers, where buyers can currently purchase the Audi A4 35 TFSI sedan for $51,990, drive-away.
Normally, the Audi would cost $56,100 before the statutory charges, such as registration and compulsory third-party insurance. Audi is also throwing in metallic paint, an assistance package, five years or 75,000km of scheduled servicing and a five-year warranty – all free of charge. That is one knockout offer. It does specifically apply to MY19 cars however.
Volkswagen has come up with a retail incentive that comes close to Audi’s for sheer eye-popping value. Usually priced at $47,590, the Volkswagen Amarok Core 4x4 TDI 420 dual cab with automatic transmission is currently selling for $41,990, with the on-road costs included. Once again, the offer applies to MY19 models in stock. VW is also outfitting every vehicle sold with the $1200 Enduro accessory pack as well.
Finally, buyers will save $1700 and the on-road costs by purchasing a Ford Everest Trend rear-wheel drive with automatic transmission. The manufacturer’s retail list price is $56,690, but Ford is currently offering the entry-level Everest (with the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and 10-speed auto) for $54,990 drive-away. There’s an additional saving too in the free scheduled servicing for five years.
