The Peugeot 508 GT Fastback is a very polished design that has been very well received since its arrival in Australia late last year. Peugeot importer Inchcape is currently selling 2020 stock at a price discounted by $500, not including the free on-road costs. Normally the svelte French sedan is priced at a manufacturer’s retail list price of $57,490, but the importer is pushing them out the door for $56,990 drive-away.
And Peugeot dealers are also doing deals on 2019-plated stock of the 508 GT Sportswagon with just delivery kilometres on the odometer.
The popular Mitsubishi Outlander is presently on offer with a warranty extended to seven years or 150,000km for the entry-level ES front-wheel drive model with manual transmission . This variant is usually priced at $29,490 before the on-road costs, but Mitsubishi is enticing buyers with a drive-away price of $28,990, representing a notional saving of $500, plus thousands for the free registration, stamp duty and third-party insurance. In addition, Mitsubishi is shipping this variant of Outlander with $1000 worth of free accessories to seal the deal.
Previously available at a special price, the Ford Ranger Sport 4x4 3.2-litre dual-cab with automatic transmission is once again the subject of a retail incentive that will really draw in the punters. Fleet buyers who can quote an ABN number can pick up the Ranger for just $49,490 drive-away. Private buyers will pay $50,990 drive-way, which is still a whopping discount of $4750 from the manufacturer’s retail list price, to say nothing of the free on-road costs and the three years of scheduled servicing that Ford is throwing in to cap it all off.
