Deal hunter: Discounted drive-away Mazda BT-50 offer

And reduced on-road pricing for Ford Focus ST-Line and Nissan X-TRAIL Ti

Mazda is luring ABN holders and primary producers into dealer showrooms with an enticing offer for the Mazda BT-50 4x4 XTR dual-cab ute with manual transmission.

Normally priced at $54,710 plus on-road costs, this variant of the BT-50 is currently selling for $53,990 on the road – including the registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance charges.

There’s a finance offer as well, but the deal is only available to ABN holders and primary producers.

Private buyers in the market for a medium SUV are advised to consider the Nissan X-TRAIL Ti 4WD – with 2.5-litre engine and auto transmission.

Nissan has pared back some of the on-road costs for the X-TRAIL, offering drive-away pricing of $46,490, which is just $525 more than the manufacturer’s retail list price of $45,965.

In addition, there’s a finance offer on the table which throws in three years of free servicing also.

Ford has also reduced the drive-away price of the Ford Focus ST-Line hatch with automatic transmission to just $32,690.

That’s as little as $1700 more than the manufacturer’s retail list price of $30,990.

The vehicles are 2020-plated, but are MY21 versions.

These are just a few of the deals that are available, or will soon be announced, as the end of the financial year approaches.

Car companies and dealers will be ready to haggle, so if you’re cashed up or your bank manager is smiling benignly upon you, it’s time to start gearing up for your next big purchase.
