Updated, August 21, 2020: The Kia Rio offer below has changed following the successful conclusion of the MY20 Rio stock clearance.
Ford dealers are clearing 2019-plated stock of the Ford Endura Trend, and they’re shaving $1000 off the price and absorbing the on-road costs too, for a drive-away price of $43,990. On top of that, the entry-level variant is offered with free scheduled servicing for three years. It’s a lot of comfy, sophisticated SUV for the price.
Buyers in the market for a van that will carry a sizeable load at an affordable price should take a look at the Renault Master Pro 110kW long-wheelbase model. Renault is offering this variant with automatic transmission at a drive-away price of $51,990. That’s $1000 below the manufacturer’s retail list price, with the added savings on stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance as well. In addition, Renault has bumped up the warranty from three years to five years or 200,000km as a further enticement to buy.
Lastly, the well-regarded Kia Rio S with automatic transmission is being rolled out at an all-inclusive drive-away cost of $19,990. Kia had been clearing stock of the MY20 model, which is now sold out, but the importer is offering a deal on the new MY21 model that's about $400 off the manufacturer’s revised retail list price with the statutory on-road costs staying in your pocket too. So if you had your heart set on that expensive new light hatch ... there’s now a larger alternative that fits within your budget.
