Safe family motoring doesn’t get much more affordable than the current offer of a Nissan X-TRAIL ST front-wheel drive for $30,990 on the road.
That’s the five-seat entry-level X-TRAIL variant with AEB and a reversing camera for just over a thousand off the manufacturer’s retail list price, plus free stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance. As if that isn’t enough already, Nissan Finance will lend buyers the money to purchase the X-TRAIL at a going rate of five per cent over a 48-month term.
How about $4500 off the Ford Ranger 4x4 XLS dual cab with 3.2-litre engine and automatic transmission? The price of this variant in Ford’s widely admired pick-up range is $52,490, but Ford is letting it go for just $47,990, which is a drive-away price as well, so buyers will also save thousands on the statutory charges.
There’s an even sweeter deal available for ABN holders, who can purchase the Ranger for as little as $46,490 on the road. And Ford has announced the further incentive of a special finance offer for ABN holders.
The Peugeot 508 GT continues to be sold for $56,990 on the road. That’s $500 off the retail list price of the Fastback sedan and $2500 off the asking price of the Sportswagon. And buyers save the cost of stamp duty, registration and CTP insurance as well. This is a lot of car for the money.
