Deal hunter: Ford Transit drive-away pricing offer and free servicing

The time is ripe for fleet buyers to upgrade their old workhorse for a new Ford Transit 350L van, with Ford dealers selling the front-wheel drive automatic models for just $51,990 on the road. That is, of course, provided you hold an ABN number.

Buyers who don’t have an ABN number can take delivery of a new model for just a thousand dollars more – at $52,990. That includes all the statutory charges, such as stamp duty, registration and third-party compulsory insurance. Normally the Ford Transit in this specification sells for $53,950, so there’s nearly a thousand dollars saved ($2000 if you’re an ABN holder), along with all the on-road costs absorbed by Ford. And as if that isn’t enough, Ford is throwing in three years of free scheduled servicing as well.

Mitsubishi still has stock of Pajero to clear, with the manufacturers retail list price of $54,490 reduced to $51,490 and the on-road costs absorbed for the Mitsubishi Pajero GLX.

And lastly, the increasingly popular – and already affordable – MG3 Excite is still available at an unbeatable price of $18,690, drive-away. That’s all the on-road costs for stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance included for just $200 more than the usual manufacturer’s retail list price.
