Deal hunter: LDV G10 price crash for ABN holders

And discounted drive-away pricing for Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and MG3

Did you know that home owners across the nation have gone renovation mad? The ABC reports that a new record has been set for home renovations, partly because Aussies have had their holiday plans (overseas and interstate) put on hold – and the budget has just been sitting there in the bank.

So tradespeople right around the country are working their tails off, particularly as everyone wants the house looking fabulous in time for family and friends joining them for Christmas.

The ripple effect from that is tradies are now looking for reliable and affordable transport for their tools and materials.

And LDV dealers have the answer: The LDV G10+ van with diesel/auto powertrain combo at a price that will be welcomed with open arms by ABN holders.

The regular drive-away price (including on-road costs like registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance) is $36,305 for private buyers.

ABN holders can get into this variant of G10 for less – $34,490 on the road. But at present LDV is selling the G10+ for a staggering $32,490 on the road, for ABN holders.

But private buyers won’t miss out; the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and MG3 are currently being offered with a discount that knocks hundreds off the price on the road.

2021 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross ES

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross ES front-wheel drive with CVT sells for the manufacturer’s retail list price of $30,990, but Mitsubishi will currently register the car and ask buyers to pay no more than $500 towards the on-road costs.

That sees you driving your own Eclipse Cross out of the showroom for $31,490.

The deal going for the MG3 Excite shaves enough off the on-road price that you’ll take delivery of the flagship variant in the range for less than $20,000 and still have $500 to spare for accessories.

2021 MG MG3 Excite

Normally, this variant of the MG3 sells for a manufacturer’s retail list price of $18,490, but MG dealers are selling these cars at an on-road price of $19,490.

With prices for passenger cars in the light segment escalating fast, it’s good to know that you can still get into Australia’s most popular light hatch for under 20 grand after all the statutory charges are paid.
