Deal hunter: Mazda rolls out EOFY bargains

There’s barely a month of the current financial year remaining, and Mazda has taken the razor to prices of its 2019 clearance stock and 2020 models just in time.

The highlight of the brand’s end-of-financial-year sales program must be the 2019 Mazda BT-50 XT dual-cab ute, with over $10,000 knocked off the price and the on-road costs paid by Mazda. That takes the price down from the manufacturer’s retail list price of $47,850 to just $37,490, drive-away. And this vehicle is also subject to the instant asset write-off scheme for businesses earning up to $500 million.

Mazda is also offering drive-away pricing on its stock of 2020 SUVs and passenger cars, plus further discounts.

The 2020 Mazda CX-3 Neo Sport with manual transmission is currently available at a drive-away price of $23,990, and buyers can get into the Mazda2 G15 Pure manual for a drive-away price of $21,990 ; the light hatch normally sells for $20,990 before including the on-road costs.

Among examples of larger SUVs in the range to be offered at discounted prices with the on-roads thrown in, there’s the Mazda CX-5 Maxx front-wheel drive at a discounted price of $32,990 – normally $34,925 without the registration, third-party insurance and other on-road costs.

Then there’s the petrol Mazda CX-8 Sport, normally priced at $44,303 but now available at a drive-away price of $41,490. The Mazda CX-9 Sport, usually priced at $51,483, is currently going for $45,990 drive-away.
