Mitsubishi Australia has mounted a ‘Good to Go’ end-of-financial-year (EOFY) campaign with attractive drive-away prices and bonus cash cards for key model lines.
These include the brand’s top-selling Mitsubishi Outlander mid-size SUV and the Eclipse Cross small SUV – both with free on-road costs and a $1000 bonus cash card on selected models – as well as the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport family SUV we’ve got under the spotlight this week.
Applying to MY23 models, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is available across the range with drive-away pricing and a $2000 bonus cash card.
In the case of the MY23 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GLX 4WD, pricing starts from just $52,740 drive-away, which includes one year of free registration, compulsory third-party insurance and stamp duty.
It doesn’t include dealer delivery, so the final savings will depend on your retailer and location, but the pre-paid Mastercard (redeemed at the point of sale) is gratis and the bottom-line figure is sure to be attractive when you consider the recommended list price is normally $49,940 plus ORCs.
Volkswagen Australia also has EOFY offers running across a wide variety of models spanning passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles, including the VW Amarok ute and even R performance car lines with T-Roc, Tiguan and Golf.
Our highlighted deal at carsales this week is the 2024 Volkswagen Golf 110TSI R-Line that’s currently available for $44,990 drive-away – just $2700 above the normal $42,290 RRP before on-road costs are added, which translates to thousands of dollars in savings.
The MY24 Golf 110TSI Life is also available from just $41,990 drive-away.
Just across the border at French brand Peugeot, the deals on its electric cars are continuing to make waves across the industry after more than $20,000 was slashed from its Peugeot e-2008 SUV last month – and quickly sold out.
Now, on the commercial vehicle front, the MY23 Peugeot e-Partner Pro LWB van has had more than $10,000 wiped from the asking price, down from $59,990 plus on-road costs to just $49,990 drive-away.
With those ORCs typically adding up to several thousand dollars, depending on the state or territory in which you live, this massive reduction in the transaction price could be the tipping point for tradies and other buyers in the market for a compact van who are considering the move to battery-electric.
There’s a host of other EOFY deals on offer from Peugeot, not to mention any number of brands – from high-volume top 10 players right through to specialists at the top end of town.
Among them, Hyundai has drummed up a broad range of offers – including generous factory bonuses and drive-away pricing – across models such as Venue, Kona, Staria, i30 sedan and 2023 Santa Fe and Tucson.
On the Hyundai Palisade Elite, buyers will also be tempted by a $3000 bonus for genuine accessories on the luxurious seven-seat family SUV.
Subaru Australia is in the thick of it, too, with its EOFY campaign including offers of 12 months’ free rego and CTP, five years’ free roadside assist and a $1000 fuel voucher. Accessory packs are also on sale.
And for those with a bigger budget, the Aston Martin DBX707 uber-SUV is currently available with a 3.99 per cent finance deal.
