BMW Australia is now taking orders for the BMW M240i at a drive-away price – including on-road costs – of $74,900.
In addition, the diminutive six-cylinder coupe gains equipment, which BMW claims to be valued at $13,000 retail.
According to the importer, this extra kit comprises:
• Double-spoke 18-inch M light alloy wheels,
• Hexagon Alcantara, Anthracite/Black upholstery,
• Aluminium Hexagon trim with Black High-Gloss highlights,
• Electric Glass Sunroof,
• Metallic Paint,
• Wireless Charging for Smartphones.
Buyers may choose from one of three designs for their valued-added BMW M240i, as follows:
Double-spoke, Jet Black 18" M light alloy
Front: 7.5 J × 18 with 225/40 R18 tyres
Rear: 8 J × 18 / with 245/35 R18 tyres
Double-spoke style, Bi-colour Jet-Black 18” M light alloy
Front: 7.5 J × 18 with 225/40 R18 tyres
Rear: 8 J × 18 with 245/35 R18 tyres
Double-spoke style, Cerium Grey Matte 18” M light alloy
Front: 7.5 J × 18 with 225/40 R18 tyres
Rear: 8 J × 18 with 245/35 R18 tyres
None of these wheels are available with runflat tyres.
With the extra gear and the standard 250kW turbocharged six-cylinder engine, the BMW M240i offers enhanced value, throwing in the eight-speed ZF automatic, M Sport brakes, sports seats and a 12-speaker harman/kardon audio system.
Driver-assist technology includes adaptive LED headlights with high-beam assist, Approach Control Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Pedestrian Warning, light city braking function and Attentiveness Assistant.
Metallic paint options for the M240i are Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Mineral Grey, Estoril Blue, Sunset Orange and Long Beach Blue.
Deliveries will commence in the fourth quarter of this year.
