The refreshed Peugeot 3008 has been leaked ahead of its official unveiling on September 1, with first images posted online by French blog
.Designed to freshen up the second-generation SUV that was first introduced in Europe back in 2016, the revised styling injects design elements lifted from the small 208 launched last year.
These include striking new vertically-mounted LED daytime running light lades that also act as indicators.
Upfront, the Peugeot 3008 also gets a pair of new headlights and a tweaked front bumper that features a wider lower air-intake flanked by a pair of openings designed to vent the front wheel-arches.
At the rear, the 3008 appears largely intact, but inside the i-cockpit dash gets a graphic overhaul and the French car-maker has also introduced a larger touch-screen infotainment system.
Under the bonnet, it's thought the engine range will carry over unchanged, meaning in Australia we will continue to get the option of 121kW/240Nm 1.6-litre turbo-petrol and a 131kW/400Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel power, the latter for the flagship 3008 GT model.
More details and new teasers of the facelifted Peugeot 3008 are expected in the build-up to its September 1 launch.
Australian deliveries are expected to commence in early 2021.
