Facelifted 2025 Audi Q7 SUV gets cheaper entry point

Comprehensively overhauled luxury family SUV gets more affordable turbo-petrol four-cylinder with lower price point

The recently facelifted 2025 Audi Q7 large luxury SUV will get a cheaper entry point early next year when the new-for-Australia 45 TFSI is introduced to the revised line-up, priced from $108,815 plus on-road costs.

Slotting in beneath the established Q7 45 TDI (170kW/500Nm), Q7 55 TFSI (250kW/500Nm) and 50 TDI (210kW/600Nm) V6s, the 2025 Audi Q7 45 TFSI is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder engine developing 185kW/370Nm.

The lower outputs naturally mean weaker performance; however the standard quattro all-wheel drive system and eight-speed automatic transmission still yield a brisk 7.3-second 0-100km/h time.

Equipment levels are generous, starting with adaptive air suspension included as standard, as is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a secondary 8.6-inch interface, Audi Connect Plus, a 10-speaker sound system, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition and the car-maker's latest autonomous emergency braking tech.

At the rear there are OLED tail-lights and a new rear bumper, while the flagship high-performance SQ7 adopts all the new design revisions and then adds its own tweaked body kit, Audi Sport wheels and brakes, black exterior trim and Audi Sport-branded cabin.

The 2025 Audi Q7 45 TFSI will arrive in the German brand’s dealers early next year.
