New upgrades have been released for the US-spec 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E that introduce styling tweaks, chassis improvements and a power boost for the electric high-riding pony car.
Available now in the US but still to be confirmed for the Australian market, key upgrades are bundled into a ‘Bronze Appearance Package’ for the range-topping Ford Mustang Mach-E GT.
Tick the $US995 ($A1520) box for the Bronze pack and buyers get a set of large 20-inch bronze cross-spoke alloy wheels, new Mach-E 4X door badging, a bronze GT boot lid insignia and a large bronze-coloured grille.
Available with either Shadow Black, Star White Metallic or Eruption Green exterior paint, the new Bronze Appearance Package also allows the Mustang Mach-E a further option of a power upgrade.
There’s no word yet on just how much more power, but Ford says the mystery power-up will convert your battery-electric Ford crossover into the quickest Mustang Mach-E yet, with an appreciable decrease on the 3.7 seconds the GT takes to launch from 0-100km/h.
Ford says it will release more information on the power upgrade in the near future.
As well as introducing the new styling pack, in the US the regular GT trim now gets MagneRide dampers, bigger Brembo brakes with 385mm front discs and 10-way adjustable Ford Performance sports seats included.
