Morgan has announced that it will end production of its 3 Wheeler next year and is marking the occasion with a limited-run P101 Edition.
Just 33 Morgan 3 Wheeler P101 Edition models will be made and, according to the niche British sportscar-maker, all have been spoken for.
Taking its name from the 3 Wheeler's internal codename – Project 101 – the final model features bespoke design elements that include a gold-coloured resin cover from the 2016 Morgan EV3 Concept, plus low-drag disc wheels.
Other changes include new Hella driving lights that have been repositioned to reduce turbulent air forming around the suspension and wishbones.
Those who have ordered the P101 have the choice of having their car painted in either black or white paint that can be combined with one of four graphic packs – one of which includes a white and black military 'Dazzleship' camouflage.
Other packs include World War II RAF graphics and a Race Car pack that features stripes and number roundels that pay homage to the original Morgan racers.
Up front, the Morgan P101 keeps the standard 3 Wheeler's S&S 2.0-litre V-twin engine that pushes out a modest 60kW and 140Nm of torque.
That means the 3 Wheeler should still be capable of hitting 100km/h in around six seconds.
Like the standard 3 Wheeler, the small Morgan roadster doesn't come cheap with each of the 33 specials selling for £54,000 ($A98,000).
Introduced back in 2011, the current 3 Wheeler will have been in production for a decade when it goes out of production next year.
And if you're lamenting the loss of one of the most charismatic cars money can buy, don't fret because Morgan has confirmed it's already working on an all-new replacement.
