Lamborghini has dropped a last-minute teaser of its upcoming EV prototype less than a day before the milestone model makes its global public debut at Pebble Beach this Saturday during Monterey Car Week.
Again released via the brand’s social media channels, this latest preview takes the form of a 15-second video hinting that Lamborghini’s long-awaited ‘fourth model’ will be something from out of this world and previewing the high-riding battery-electric 2+2-seat grand tourer’s front lighting signature.
Dimly backlit in a smoky studio, the inaugural Lambo EV features a split lighting signature comprising two underlining LED running light strips and two primary LED elements similar to those seen on the new Revuelto supercar.

We expect the actual headlights to reside between the two elements and retain the signature Lamborghini frown in conjunction with an angular and aggressive nose cone.
Brightening up the shadowy image reveals exactly that, but the glare from the illuminated DRLs make it hard to see any other particulars.
What we can see, however, is the ground-breaking model’s increased ride height and noticeably taller roofline compared to the current crop of supercars, although overall package is nowhere near as bulky as the big Urus SUV.
Combine this new frontal preview with the silhouette teaser released earlier this week and it becomes clear the Lambo EV will carve out its own niche at the top end of the auto market by pairing crossover levels of ground clearance with an elongated supercar shape and room for up to four people.
Being a Lamborghini, there’s no doubt the unnamed model will pack huge amounts of power and torque and be capable of scaring the life out of its unsuspecting rear-seat passengers, not to mention drivers of traditional supercars.
The Italian performance vehicle brand has even promised as such, declaring earlier this week that “something new and truly thrilling” was about to be unveiled on August 18 (August 19 in Australia).
Odds are the production version will be underpinned by an adapted version of the Volkswagen Group’s upcoming SSP architecture and powered by up to four electric motors outputting a combined 1000kW or more.
We’ll have all the details for you by Saturday morning.
