Ford's latest tease for next Falcon

First the headlight, now a bit of boot lid and tail light cluster – pieces are falling into place for Falcon update
The image shown here is an official pic of the tail light cluster for the updated Falcon due late this year.
Along with the company's previous teaser pic, this new image hints that the last Falcon will feature sweeping design changes at detail level, despite the company's need to keep costs down, staying with the hard points and body-in-white of the current FG Series II model. Our exclusive spy pics taken last month caught the new car in the open, with all the new panels clad in camo, but the cabin and doors exposed, confirming they will be carried over from the current model.
Posted on Ford Australia's Facebook page earlier today, the new car's tail light styling has already invited parallels with Jaguar XF and the front-wheel drive Fusion/Mondeo.
Nobody yet has cited the VT Commodore. Ahhh Ford, still trying to put the AU Falcon behind it...
